New Volunteer Orientation
Would you like to have fun and make a difference in the community? We need help in the cattery and kennel, animal adoptions, events & publicity and humane education. Also, temporary care homes. Volunteering is a fun, rewarding experience!
WSHS requires all volunteers to be 16 years of age, however, volunteers between the ages of 12 and 16 may work a shift if accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Saturday orientations start at 9:00 am, Wednesday orientations start at 7:00 pm and Sunday orientations start at 4:00 pm. All orientations will last approximately 1 hour. Registration is required for your attendance and space is limited to 15 people. To register, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 630-960-9600, ext. 45 or volunteer@wshs-dg.org. Our next orientations are:
July 9th, 19th and 27th ♦ August 16th and 31st
