How You Can Help
As with any nonprofit organization, the West Suburban Humane Society depends on the generosity of our donors to help us care for the animals. We are supported through individual and corporate donations and do not receive any government funding.
Here are some ways you might be able to help:
WSHS is always in need of the following items:
- Paper Towels
- Toilet Paper
- Food. Our animals are on a specific diet; so that we don't upset their digestive system, we must be specific: Any canned cat, dog, kitten and puppy food is fine, but for dry food we use only Purina or IAMS
- cat and dog, kitten and puppy formulas
- light formula — cat and dog
- senior formula — cat and dog.
- KMR (kitten milk replacement), small baby bottles and nipples
- Dog and cat toys (washable and indestructible!)
- Cat litter (no scoopable)
- Postage stamps
- Garbage bags (13 & 30 gallon sizes)
- 6 inch paper plates
- Bleach
- Laundry Detergent
- Volunteers!
- Monetary donations are always appreciated!
