Dogs, Cats and Animal Shelters

Spend a week with the dogs and cats of West Suburban Humane Society. What does it take to keep them happy and healthy? We will explore dog and cat care, which includes medical support for these animals. Such topics as spaying and parasite control will be discussed with hands on models and examples. All topics will help the campers understand what it takes to care for their own pets, or what to think about before adopting. The campers will have their choice of an art/craft project to represent what type of animal they would choose to adopt after they are “interviewed” by our adoption staff.
