Fall Classes
Cat Tales - Mondays
Looking for a way to get your child to read more? We might have the answer. How about having your child read to our cats? Not only will it help your child, but this program helps the cats become a little more socialized and gives them a chance to get some TLC in the process.
The Cat Tales Program will meet every Monday for 45 mins. We will start on Monday, September 9th and meet every Monday until December 9th. No session on October 7thth and October 14th. Class will start at 3:30 and end at 4:15. During that time we will begin with a whole group read and then have the children find a spot in our Cattery and start reading. The last five minutes will be time to play with the kittens. We ask that the children be in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade.
The program is limited to 12 children, and we ask for a donation of $100.00 to have your child participate.

Because of Winn Dixie
The beloved children’s novel about a lonely girl who moves in with her preacher father after being abandoned by her mother makes for a similarly sweet onscreen story, thanks in large part to a spunky Picardy Shepherd, who plays the title role. After finding Winn-Dixie at a supermarket, 10-year-old Opal learns how to meet friends and reconnect with her equally lonesome father. Rated PG.
